On the occasion of World Health Day on 7th April,2024 the Medical Department of NTPC Bongaigaon organized a day-long super specialty clinic and awareness session focusing on Cardiology and Gastroenterology. 

The camp was inaugurated by Shri K C Muraleedharan, Chief General Manager & Business Unit Head, NTPC Bongaigaon, in the presence of Shri Asutosh Biswas, GM(Operation), Shri M.S. Kandari, Asst Commandant, CISF,Shri Onkar Nath, AGM(HR),Dr. Deepayan Paul, Chief Medical Officer, along with eminent specialists Dr. Arijit Ghosh, Cardiologist, and Dr. Anshul Sharma, Gastroenterologist.

During the course of the day, more than 17 patients availed consultations with the renowned Cardiologist, Dr. Arijit Ghosh, while over 30 patients sought medical advice from the Gastroenterologist, Dr. Anshul Sharma. During the evening, an awareness camp for employees and dependents on tips and how to improve the health and prevent various gastrointestinal diseases was also deliberated by the doctors 

The camp provided a vital platform for individuals to address their health concerns and receive expert guidance from leading medical professionals.

This initiative highlights NTPC Bongaigaon's commitment towards promotion of community health initiatives and well-being, exemplifying the spirit of World Health Day.
